School of Education


The School of Education offers one of the broadest arrays of teacher education, counseling, administration opportunities leading to rewarding careers serving urban youth and families.

The Teaching, Learning & Leadership departments offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in multiple teaching and leadership certifications. The Counseling & School Psychology department offers graduate programs in school counseling, bilingual school counseling, mental health counseling and school psychology. Whatever your area of study, you will find that our professors are experts in these fields, with a range of experience that enables them to bring best practices into the classroom.

All programs incorporate fieldwork throughout the curriculum and draw upon long-term relationships with schools and organizations in New York City that offer placements that are well suited to students' needs and interests.
