B.S. in Adolescence Education: Mathematics/M.S. in Applied Mathematics

This 154-credit program leads to the Bachelor of Science in Adolescence Education: Mathematics and the Master of Science in Applied Mathematics in five years, a full year less than if the two degrees were pursued separately.

Graduates of the accelerated B.S./M.S. program will be qualified for New York State certification as mathematics teachers of grades 7 to 12.

The accelerated degree is a joint program between LIU Post’s College of Education, Information and Technology and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The teacher-education programs in LIU Post's Department of Curriculum and Instruction are nationally accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC), ensuring you receive the highest quality instruction.
