Description

Lori M. Newman is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist who serves as the Assistant Clinic Director of the Ladge Speech and Hearing Center, as well as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at LIU Post. Her clinical background is in pediatrics with specialty areas in autism spectrum disorder and early childhood development. She has many years of experience evaluating and treating children ages birth-5 years of age and is trained in applied behavioral analysis (ABA), as well as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). She also has several year of experience in clinical supervision and is currently responsible for assisting in the clinical education of graduate students at the clinic.
