Commuter Student Information
At the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, approximately 80 percent of the student population consists of commuters. There are a variety of resources on Campus to ensure that, as a commuter, you feel at home and involved at C.W. Post. Parking is free and accessible throughout the C.W. Post Campus. All students are required to register their vehicle with the Department of Public Safety and be issued an official C.W. Post parking sticker. We also encourage you to become involved in the Commuter Student Association, which actively integrates the commuter student population into campus life through social activities, educational programs and fundraising. This organization provides a forum for commuters to meet other students and share their experiences at C.W. Post. You are also welcome to use the Commuter Student Lounge in Hillwood Commons, where you can study, relax or meet up with friends between classes.
