Description

Dr. Fischetti received her PharmD degree from the University of South Carolina. She served as chief pharmacy resident during her Post Graduate Year-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center before going on to complete a Post Graduate Year-2 Ambulatory Care Residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She has been practicing in academia for one year as an assistant professor before joining LIU pharmacy. She is an assistant professor of Pharmacy Practice with her practice at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She provides outpatient services for HIV primary care, HCV co-infection, anticoagulation and pharmacotherapy. In addition she precepts APPE pharmacy students on rotation as well PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residents at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.

Dr. Fischetti is board certified in ambulatory care and certified to practice collaborative drug therapy management in New York. She is currently working on a grant funded research project looking lamivudine dosing in patients with renal dysfunction.
