Acquisitions Request Form

The classroom and library faculties share the responsibility for recommending materials for purchase. Members of many campus departments read Choice reviews, as well as book reviews in journals, in their subject fields. Faculty requests and recommendations for purchase of titles are encouraged and given strong consideration. The librarians who act as liaisons to academic departments solicit and encourage suggestions for items to be added to the Library's collections.

The framework of procedures, definitions, and guiding principles governing the selection, acquisition, and deaccessioning of library materials in both traditional and electronic formats is provided in our Collection Policy Statement.
