LIBRARY DATABASES:

The following databases are available on campus and from home. A University I.D. card with a barcode will provide access from off campus. Go to the Circulation Desk of the Library to obtain a barcode.

These databases will provide many full-text articles about all business topics, and will be especially useful for finding current economic, financial, and country news.

Business Source Premier (Ebsco) Library databases
Business Source Premier provides full text articles for over 8,000 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,100 scholarly business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for more than 350 of the top scholarly journals dating as far back as 1922. Also includes other sources of full text information such as country economic reports from the EIU, Global Insight, ICON Group, and CountryWatch.

Business & Company Resource Center Library Databases
Use this database to find many current, full-text articles on a specific country or topic. The Advanced Search feature is useful for locating targeted data such as company and industry information, investment reports, company history, and rankings.

General BusinessFile Library Databases
Produced by the same company as the Business & Company Resource Center, this database provides similar information in a somewhat different format.

ABI/Inform Global (ProQuest) Library Databases
The ProQuest databases provide a wealth of information in full-text articles. Use the Advanced Search to locate articles by specific country and/or subject heading.

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe Library Databases
This all full-text database provides many current and retrospective news and business articles. Country Profiles provides business opportunities, risk reports, economic & polical news, market research reports, and more. To access Walden's Country Reports, click on the "Sources" tab; then choose the "Country & Region Reports" folder; check the appropriate box(s); and click the "OK-Continue" button on the right. International newspapers can be accessed by clicking the "News" tab and selecting "Major World Newspapers" from the dropdown menu.

Conference Board Library Databases
The Conference Board's Economic Research will be useful for data and trends in world economies.
