- Congressional Information Service (CIS) indexing and
abstracting of congressional
publications and the CIS Legislative Histories from 1970-present;

prints, bills, testamony, prepared statements, selected
transcripts, bills, US Code, Code of Federal Regulations, and
Congressional Record. Congressional personnel and committee information,

- EIS:
Digests of Environmental Impact Statements (Cambridge Scientific Abstracts)
- Indexes and abstracts environmental impact
statements issued by the federal government. Each
entry includes a clear description of the project, sections on positive
impact and negative consequences, and legal mandates.
Covers air transportation, defense programs, energy, hazardous substances,
land use, parks, refuges, forests, roads, railroads, programs, and water.
Covers 1985 to the present.

- Government information is a tremendous
resource for research on
a broad range of topics including business and economics, criminal
justice, education, environment, geology, health and nutrition, and
population to name just a few. Much of this information is available
from the Internet, and the C.W. Post Government Information Department
has compiled an extensive list of resources.
