The Academy of Certified Archivists: Certifies archivists and promotes standards of professional archival practice.
Archives Resource Center: A web-based clearinghouse for archivists. Provides information on continuing education resources, a calendar of events, directories, links to professional organizations, and resources from state archives and records programs.
Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York (ART): Information for records managers in the New York metropolitan area including job postings, professional development, repository guide, and archives links.
Directory of Corporate Archives in the United States and Canada: Sponsored by the Society of American Archivists Business Section. Online version edited and maintained by Prof. Gregory Hunter.
IMLS: Institute of Museum and Library Services: IMLS is a federal agency that supports the nation's museums and libraries. This site provides information on grants, conferences, IMLS publications, and links to other websites.
InterPARES Project (International Research on Permanent Authentic Records in Electronic Systems): "A major international research initiative in which archival scholars, computer engineering scholars, national archival institutions and private industry representatives are collaborating to develop the theoretical and methodological knowledge required for the long-term preservation of the authenticity of records created in electronic systems."
National Archives and Records Administration: Online sources for federal documents research, records management, exhibits, and publications.
Northeast Document Conservation Center: A nonprofit, regional conservation center which seeks to improve the preservation programs of libraries, archives, museums, and other historical and cultural organizations. Website includes education and outreach, funding sources, and internet resources.
Repositories of Primary Sources: "A listing of over 4800 websites describing holdings of manuscripts, archives, rare books, historical photographs, and other primary sources for the research scholar."

Getting Started with XML: "Introduces participants to the extensible markup language (XML) through numerous library examples, demonstrations, and structured hands-on exercises.
