IMHO, the Cure are one of the most influential bands still around today. After twenty years of music, they still produce original and meaningful songs.

Robert Smith started the band in 1977 and released the first Cure album, Boys Don't Cry, in 1979 with Laurence Tolhurst and Jim Dempsey. The current line-up listed above is up-to-date as of their last album, Wild Mood Swings.
