Program Development, Accreditation and Compliance

The Office of Academic Affairs strongly encourages the development of new and innovative academic programs. Policies and procedures have been put in place to assure the quality of academic programs and to clearly define the processes by which they are submitted for institutional and New York State Education Department approval. In the interest of improving communication among all of the involved parties, the Office of Academic Affairs has outlined the process by which new programs are to be submitted for consideration. Procedures for submitting accreditation self-study reports and scheduling site visits are similarly outlined.
