Description

Dr. Alexander serves a clinical pharmacist in an adult primary care practice at the Phillips Ambulatory Care Center of Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan. He is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Certified Diabetes Educator. Dr. Alexander’s areas of interest include the use and assessment of innovative teaching practices, educational technology, and patient engagement. Prior to coming to LIU, he served as an Assistant Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy (Richmond, VA), where he also completed a community practice residency.
