Dr. Kristin L. Fabbio, assistant professor of pharmacy practice, received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St John’s University. Dr. Fabbio then went on to pursue a post-graduate year-1 (PGY1) residency at the Erie Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Erie, Penn., and a post-graduate year-2 (PGY-2) ambulatory care residency with emphasis in diabetes management at the Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in Bay Pines, Fla. She provides ambulatory care services at Kings County Hospital Center in the areas of diabetes and anticoagulation management. Dr. Fabbio also serves as a preceptor for sixth-year Pharm.D. candidates during their Ambulatory Care II rotation.
