Troy D. Kish

Description

Dr. Kish graduated in 2008 from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy in Ohio and subsequently came to Brooklyn to complete his PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Afterwards, he went on to complete a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases residency at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, NY where he currently still practices as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice with the LIU College of Pharmacy. Additionally, he received his Board Certification of Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) certificate in 2010.

In addition to working with 6th year APPE students for their internal medicine experiences, he lectures in the topics of principles of infectious diseases, principles of oncology, and clinical management of specific malignancies. His areas of research interests include treatment of C. difficile infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and management of cirrhosis.

Specialties

Currently practices Internal Medicine at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center located in the Bronx, NY and completed a specialty residency in Infectious Diseases.
