Description
Dr. Stedford joined the full time staff as director of the graduate nursing program after six years as adjunct professor at Long Island University. As director of the graduate nursing programs, she was instrumental in increasing enrollment and bringing onsite board certification review. The result was more graduates sitting and passing the board certifications for nurse practitioners. In addition, Dr. Stedford is keen on preparing students for the job market and has instituted hands on skills workshops and career fairs.
Dr. Stedford maintains clinical practice and represents the nurse and women’s profession at both the city and state level.
