Description
Dr. Nicole Magaldi is a Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her research and teaching stem from her 20+ years of clinical experience working with children in various settings including hospitals, early intervention, schools and private practice. Dr. Magaldi specializes in child language disorders with a particular interest in Developmental Language Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her current research examines methods of promoting and facilitating evidence – based practice in child language disorders. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the professional development committee for ASHA’s Special Interest Group 1 (SIG 1).
